ALUMINIUM FRAME
Unlike steel or timber, cat enclosures made with aluminium frames will not rust, rot nor deteriorate in the weather. Your Royal Rooster cat enclosure will look just as great in many years’ time due to the durable materials that are used in its construction. Royal Rooster’s specially designed aluminium is made with u-shaped channels in which the mesh or mini-fluted iron slots in directly. This means that there are no ugly fixings on either side of the panels to keep the materials in place. No welds or sharp edges on the mesh to be concerned about.
Black Frame Optional Upgrade: The enclosures as standard are made with silver (clear anodised) aluminium framework, however black anodised frame is also available as an optional upgrade.
MESH OR IRON ROOF
The Cat Pavilion with Medium Extension comes standard with a mesh roof made from 25mm x 25mm x 2.5mm mesh. Iron Roof Optional Upgrade: If you would prefer extra protection for our cats, you can choose to have an optional solid roof section on your Pavilion. This consists 2.5m of solid iron roof with the extension part of the Pavilion (1.2) in mesh. This iron roof is available in a range of Colorbond Colours. Alternatively a full iron roof is also available.MESH OR IRON WALLS
The Cat Pavilion with Medium Extension comes standard with all mesh walls enclosed with 25mm x 25mm x 2.5mm mesh. 3 Iron Walls Optional Upgrade: If you would like some extra protection for your cats, you can chose to have the back wall (1.6m wide) and a proportion of the long side walls (1.2m) enclosed with mini fluted iron in a choice of Colorbond colours.SKIRTING/ KICK-BOARDS
These cat enclosures can also have a 30cm skirting/ kick-board incorporated around the entire perimeter of the cage. This can provide extra protection for your cats when they are on the ground from visiting animals. Also helps to keep out rodents.
These colours include Woodland Grey, Pale Eucalypt, Deep Ocean and Monument.
INSULATED ROOF AND WALLS
These cat enclosures are also available with an insulated roof and/ or insulated walls. This is done by using 7mm silver backed insulation that is sandwiched between the mini fluted iron walls on the outside and aluminium composite panel on the side and underside of the enclosure.GALVANISED MESH
The sides of the Cat Pavilion with Medium Extension are enclosed with galvanised steel mesh. As standard these cat enclosures are made with 25mm x 25mm mesh with wire thickness of 2.5mm. Galvanised Mini Mesh Optional Upgrade: If snakes are a concern where you live, then 12.5mm x 12.5mm squares and has wire thickness of 1.24mm may be needed.POWER COATED MESH
For those wanting a black finish to their mesh, your choice of mesh size and finish can also be powder coated in a black finish.WEATHER SHIELD
If you have chosen an iron roof and walls, you can have even more protection for your pets with a weather shield. This removable shield further encloses the housing area but leaves a gap for your pets to enter the housing end. Designed to be removable in the warmer months for maximum ventilation. Made with an aluminium extrusion frame and infilled with mini fluted iron to match the other colours chosen on your enclosure.
OPEN FLOOR DESIGN
These cat enclosures do not have a floor as standard. You may choose to put your enclosure on pavers or concrete or even incorporate into your garden beds with plants for added interest and shade for your cats.ACCESS DOOR
The Cat Pavilion style of enclosure has a large door at the front allowing easy entry into the enclosure. This door is 1.94m high. Safety Entry Cage Optional Upgrade: If you are concerned with your cats escaping when you open the door, you may wish to purchase a ‘safety entry cage’ which is also called a ‘safety catch’ with your enclosure to prevent accidental losses. You simply walk into the safety entry cage, close the door behind you before you open the door on the main enclosure. This cage needs to be purchased separately in addition to your main cat enclosure.HOOK ON BOWLS
Royal Rooster has stainless steel hook on bowls available in two sizes: 280ml and 560ml. These hook straight on to the mesh of your enclosure for food or water. Royal Rooster also offer a Feeder Shelf that has a stainless steel bowl incorporated into the shelf. These can be positioned at any height in your cat enclosure.SHELVES
Timber Style Shelves – These timber style shelves are 60cm wide x 30cm deep and are enclosed with timber style boards which are an Australian made timber/ plastic composite material. This timber style material can be used in both indoors or outdoors, so is completely weather and maintenance proof. These are the most popular cat shelves.
Carpet Shelves – These carpet shelves are 60cm wide x 30cm deep and are enclosed with flat iron sheeting, covered with quality marine grade carpet which is suitable for outdoors. A great place for your cat to lounge. These are also a very popular choice of cat shelf.
Standard Shelves – These shelves are 60cm wide x 30cm deep and are enclosed with aluminium composite panelling.
Feeder Shelves – These feeder shelves are 60cm wide x 30cm deep and are enclosed with aluminium composite panelling and feature an inset 300ml stainless steel bowl suitable for food or water for your feline friend.
BRIDGES
A very fun additional to any cat enclosure. This bridge attaches to two of the cat shelves, mounted at the same height. They are made using quality sisal rope and timber style boards which are an Australian made timber/ plastic composite material. This timber style material can be used in both indoors or outdoors, so is completely weather and maintenance proof. The 65cm bridge is the most suitable length for the Cat Pavilions.SISAL SCRATCHING STEPS & POSTS
Sisal Steps – Fantastic multi purchase step and scratching post, 30 long x 12cm wide. Made using natural sisal rope and a PVC core, these steps can be used indoors or outdoors. Mounted horizontally for cats to use as a step to get to higher shelves. Sisal Scratching Posts – Quality, vertical mounted sisal scratching post. Quality PVC core with 8mm sisal rope for indoor or outdoor use. Great for cats climbing and scratching needs. Available in 50cm or 1m sizes.ACCESS TUNNELS
If you want your cat to be able to access their enclosure directly from your home, you can purchase access tunnels and cat doors to maximise ease of using your enclosure. Corner modules are also available for those needing their tunnel to turn a corner!
The tunnels come in 5 different sizes: 60cm, 90cm, 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m long. They are approx. 30cm wide by 40cm high. They come with marine grade carpet to make it nice and soft on your cat paws as they walk along.
OUTDOOR LITTER BOX
We all love our cats but we don’t love the smell that comes from their litter boxes! Royal Rooster has addressed this issue by creating an external litter box which attaches to the outside of your cat enclosure! You can reclaim your laundry or spare room by taking the litter box and it’s associated sells outside. These boxes have a rear door allowing you to empty the litter tray from outside your enclosure, reducing the chance of your indoor cat from escaping. These well-designed boxes feature a front privacy screen and a marine grade carpet entrance (great for cleaning those paws on the way out). All boxes come with a litter tray and scoop for cleaning your tray. These can be made in either a black or clear anodised aluminium frame (silver in colour) and a range of colorbond colours for the iron cladding to match your enclosure.CAGE ANCHOR KITS
If you’re putting your enclosure on concrete, it’s a good idea to anchor down if strong winds are a concern in your location.DELIVERY INSURANCE
This covers the replacement or repair of your cat enclosure if damaged in transit with TNT as well as the freight to transport damaged parts back to us and new parts back over to you. Only $15 for peace of mind. Highly recommended.ASSEMBLY REQUIREMENTS
These cages are straightforward to put together and come with detailed, illustrated instructions. You’ll need a rubber mallet, an electric drill and a number 2 Philips-head driver. Assembly time should be 3+ hours depending on skill level. If you order a cage with mini mesh walls, a pair of pointy nose pliers is also handy.LEAD TIME & FREIGHT
All aviaries are made in our purpose built premises on Theen Ave, Willaston in South Australia. Lead times on orders can vary depending on the time of the year and other factors out of our control. Please click here to see that latest lead time on orders.
TNT generally takes between 1-2 weeks to deliver items once picked up from us. Picking up from a TNT depot rather than having your enclosure delivered to your home can save quite a lot in delivery costs. So that is also an option when you go to check out.
