WHEEL KIT TO MOVE YOUR COOP
These wheel kits make moving your large chicken coop much easier for one person. They are fitted to the centre point of the cage, one wheel on either side. You simply have to rotate the lever in a clock-wise direction until the bolt head slots into a special curved cut-out. This will lift the coop the appropriate distance from the ground. You then push or pull your cage to a new position in your backyard. The chickens or other pets will stay safely inside and walk along as you move your mobile chicken coop. If you have a mesh floor in place, they’ll likely just grip onto the mesh and go for a ride! When you’ve reached your new patch of soil you simply rotate the lever anti-clockwise so the coop sits flush with the ground again.CAN BE ADDED AFTER PURCHASE
If you didn’t order a wheel kit with your coop but now wish to add this to your coop, that is entirely possible. Instructions will be provided of how to add these to your coop. You will need an electric drill to drill a hole in the side of your coop for the large bolts to fit through.LEAD TIME AND FREIGHT
All coops and accessories are made in our purpose built premises in Willaston in South Australia. Lead times on orders can vary depending on the time of the year and other factors out of our control. Please click here to see that latest lead time on orders. Delivery with TNT generally then takes between 1-2 weeks to arrive. We have both depot pick up and residential delivery as freight options to keep the cost down for those able to collect from a TNT depot or agent. If you purchase a wheel kit without a coop or cage, it will be sent within 1-3 days with Australia Post.
